About the Role
Verisign is seeking a Director of Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineering to lead the strategy and delivery of our enterprise IAM program. In this role, you will guide engineering, operations, and continuous improvement for identity services that help secure access across on-premises, cloud, and SaaS environments.
Responsibilities
- Own the operational effectiveness and engineering roadmap for enterprise IAM capabilities
- Lead strategy and delivery for Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), and access management
- Drive planning and continuous improvement across identity services, including MFA and related controls
- Ensure IAM engineering execution supports security, resiliency, and business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, reliability, and service outcomes
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in IAM engineering, identity services, or related security engineering roles
- Deep understanding of PAM, IGA, MFA, and enterprise access management patterns
- Experience delivering IAM solutions across hybrid environments (on-premises, cloud, and SaaS)
- Strong operational mindset with the ability to manage roadmaps and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively across teams
