About the Role
Sonos is seeking a Director of Indirect Procurement to help drive sourcing and supplier strategy for non-product categories that support our business. In this hybrid role, you’ll partner across teams to ensure procurement decisions improve quality, cost, and service while strengthening our supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead indirect sourcing strategies across categories such as services, facilities, marketing support, and other business-critical spend
- Own supplier selection, contracting, and ongoing performance management to meet business needs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements, manage demand, and identify cost-optimization opportunities
- Develop and execute procurement roadmaps, including negotiation plans and savings tracking
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, policies, and governance
- Partner with Finance and other functions to ensure compliance, risk management, and accurate reporting
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management for indirect categories
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions
- Experience managing supplier relationships and performance metrics
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and translating business needs into sourcing plans
- Ability to work hybrid and be located within commuting distance of the Boston or Santa Barbara office (2–3 days in office per week)
