Director of IT, Information Security & Data Privacy (Hands-On) | Hybrid/Onsite

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic Director of IT, Information Security & Data Privacy to lead and scale our internal technology, cybersecurity, and privacy programs. You’ll oversee IT infrastructure, security operations, compliance efforts, and data privacy initiatives in support of a fast-growing SaaS environment.

This role combines strategic planning with practical execution—helping us mature our systems, processes, and security posture as we grow.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive the company’s IT strategy, ensuring reliable, secure technology operations
• Lead information security operations and proactively manage risk across the organization
• Own data privacy program development, governance, and compliance initiatives
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team that supports business-critical systems
• Partner with leadership to align security and privacy priorities with company goals
• Continuously improve security practices, operational processes, and system scalability

Requirements

• Proven experience leading IT and information security functions in a SaaS or technology environment
• Strong knowledge of security operations, compliance, and privacy governance
• Demonstrated ability to scale systems, processes, and security practices in a high-growth setting
• Hands-on technical leadership with the ability to execute while setting direction
• Experience building and mentoring teams
