About the Role
SKILLBRIDGE is seeking a Director of Procurement & Vendor Management to build and scale Overwatch’s procurement function. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on creating repeatable processes, strengthening governance, and ensuring the company can source and manage third-party goods and services efficiently as it grows.
Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the end-to-end procurement function, including strategic sourcing and purchasing
- Own vendor management and the lifecycle of third-party goods and services
- Manage contract lifecycle activities, from intake and review through renewal and ongoing governance
- Oversee procurement for categories such as software, hardware, equipment, furniture, facilities, professional services, and operational vendors
- Build controls, policies, and partnerships that support scalable operations
- Balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution to deliver measurable procurement outcomes
Requirements
- Proven experience leading procurement and vendor management programs
- Strong understanding of strategic sourcing and purchasing processes
- Experience with contract lifecycle management and procurement governance
- Ability to operate as a hands-on leader with a strong bias toward action
- Excellent ownership mindset and partnership skills across business stakeholders
