About the Role
SnapLogic is seeking a hands-on Director of Software Engineering to help build enterprise-grade cloud SaaS/PaaS capabilities. You’ll combine strong Java engineering with visionary leadership to guide the development of scalable solutions that power AI-connected workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor software engineers while staying actively involved in hands-on Java development
- Drive the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of cloud services for enterprise platforms
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust systems
- Ensure engineering best practices around reliability, performance, and maintainability
- Set technical direction and help teams deliver on roadmap priorities
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Java developer with the ability to lead from the code
- Leadership experience delivering production software in a cloud SaaS/PaaS environment
- Strong software engineering fundamentals (architecture, testing, performance, and reliability)
- Ability to partner effectively across teams and influence technical decisions
