FirstEnergy Service Company is seeking a Financial Specialist to support the Program Delivery Financial Management & Controls team. In this role, you’ll help oversee financial performance and controls for a large, multi-year portfolio tied to regulatory and program delivery efforts.
Responsibilities
- Support financial management and control activities for program delivery initiatives
- Assist with monitoring budgets, forecasts, and performance against established targets
- Help ensure regulatory and program financial requirements are met through accurate tracking and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support decision-making and operational planning
- Contribute to financial analysis efforts that improve visibility into portfolio performance
Requirements
- Experience in finance, financial analysis, or related business controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with financial tools and reporting (e.g., spreadsheets and reporting systems)
- Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders across teams
