About the Role

Join a New York–based investment team focused on biopharma and life sciences. In this Associate role, you’ll evaluate new opportunities and thematic investments, perform technical diligence, and help support deal execution—working closely with both internal stakeholders and portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

  • Source, assess, and recommend investments in biopharmaceutical and drug development companies, including helping develop thematic focus areas
  • Support scientific and clinical due diligence by synthesizing preclinical evidence, clinical trial outcomes, regulatory considerations, and market dynamics
  • Build and present well-reasoned investment theses to senior leadership, including the global Investment Committee
  • Contribute across the full deal lifecycle, from initial analysis through execution support

Requirements

  • Scientific background relevant to life sciences (e.g., biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, or related field)
  • Experience or strong familiarity with biopharma R&D and/or drug development concepts
  • Ability to translate technical data into clear investment conclusions
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort presenting findings to senior stakeholders
