About the Role
We’re looking for a Document Control Manager to support major infrastructure and capital programs across transportation and utilities, including highways, bridges, transit systems, airports, and water/wastewater projects. In this role, you’ll lead enterprise document control and information governance activities that help teams deliver work efficiently while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day document control operations for complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
- Establish and maintain program-wide document control standards, workflows, and operating procedures.
- Lead and support document control personnel, including training, performance oversight, and continuous improvement.
- Drive implementation and optimization of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
- Partner with project teams, consultants, contractors, quality, IT, and executive leadership to ensure consistent document practices.
- Ensure accurate version control, traceability, and timely document submission in support of program delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading document control and information governance functions on large, complex projects.
- Strong understanding of document management best practices, including standards, workflows, and lifecycle management.
- Experience implementing or optimizing EDMS tools and related processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams, quality functions, and IT stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to compliance, accuracy, and detail.
