About the Role
Trenholm State is seeking an Electrical Technology faculty member to teach both theoretical and hands-on electrical concepts. You will help deliver workforce-driven education aligned with industry standards and regional workforce needs, while following course syllabi, college policies, and Alabama Community College System guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned courses and implement the instructional program according to approved syllabi
- Advise and recruit students to support enrollment and student success
- Assist with curriculum updates and ensure course content stays current
- Maintain and support instructional equipment used for electrical training
- Serve on college committees and contribute to campus initiatives
- Support the College’s overall mission and workforce education goals
Requirements
- Experience or expertise in electrical technology and related industry practices
- Ability to teach effectively in both classroom and lab settings
- Commitment to curriculum development and continuous improvement
- Willingness to participate in advising, recruiting, and committee service
