About the Role
Join AoPS Academy as an Elementary Math Instructor and help students build strong problem-solving skills through an engaging, collaborative classroom experience. We’re hiring for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Responsibilities
- Teach using company-created curriculum and materials for advanced learners
- Lead small-group instruction and encourage student-led learning during class
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively for groups of up to 16 students
- Grade assessments and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Build meaningful relationships with students and families to support long-term growth
Requirements
- Experience teaching elementary math (or a strong background in elementary education)
- Ability to motivate students and facilitate active learning
- Strong classroom management skills
- Comfort providing feedback on student work and assessments
