About the Role
We’re seeking a highly qualified, state-certified Middle School Math Teacher to deliver grade-level math instruction in an online learning environment. You’ll provide clear instruction, ongoing support, and guidance that helps students build strong math skills and progress toward established goals.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned middle school math courses in an online setting
- Support students as they work through coursework and learning activities
- Monitor student progress using Stride K12’s learning management system
- Work closely with students and parents/learning coaches to reinforce learning and meet goals
- Manage the learning process to ensure students stay on track
- Travel occasionally for required school events (e.g., state testing)
Requirements
- Alabama Secondary Math Teaching Certificate
- Residency in Alabama (as required)
- Ability to teach effectively in a virtual environment
- Comfort using an LMS to track progress and support learning
Benefits
- Base salary of $44,000
- Eligibility for a performance bonus
- Start date: July 2026
