About the Role
We are seeking a highly qualified, state-certified Elementary Special Education Teacher (Alabama K-6) to deliver instruction in an online learning environment. You will guide students through individualized learning plans, monitor progress, and partner with families to help each learner achieve established goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide engaging instruction and academic support aligned to course content in an online setting
- Manage the learning process while addressing each student’s individual needs
- Track and monitor student progress using Stride K12’s learning management system
- Collaborate closely with students and parents/learning coaches to support learning outcomes
- Work primarily from home while traveling occasionally for required school events (e.g., state testing)
Requirements
- Alabama K-6 Special Education Teaching Certificate
- Residency in Alabama (as required by the position)
- Ability to teach effectively in an online environment and support diverse learners
Benefits
- Annual salary of $46,000
