About the Role
High Tech High is seeking a dedicated Elementary Teacher to lead a 5th grade classroom. This is a full-time, certificated position (188-day schedule) where you’ll help students build strong academic skills and a love of learning within a supportive charter school community.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging instruction aligned to grade-level learning goals
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that supports student growth
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet learner needs
- Collaborate with school leadership and colleagues to strengthen the school program
- Maintain professional conduct and meet expectations for certificated staff
Requirements
- Valid teaching certification for elementary education
- Experience teaching elementary students (5th grade preferred)
- Strong instructional planning and classroom management skills
- Ability to assess learning and use data to improve outcomes
- Commitment to student-centered, high-quality instruction
Benefits
- Salary range of $64,735 to $115,369 (commensurate with experience and education)
- Regular, full-time employment with an exempt 188-day schedule
