About the Role
Aeva is building the next wave of perception technology for applications ranging from autonomous driving and industrial robotics to consumer electronics and security. We integrate LiDAR components onto silicon photonics to deliver compact, high-performance sensing. In this role, you’ll help develop real-time embedded software that powers our perception platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement real-time applications running on application processors and microcontrollers using C/C++
- Contribute to the software lifecycle, including requirements and design documentation, test plan creation, execution, and peer reviews
- Investigate, debug, and resolve complex issues across embedded components as they appear during development and product support
Requirements
- Experience building embedded software in C and/or C++
- Comfort working with real-time systems on microcontrollers and/or application processors
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for complex software issues
