About the Role
Verisign is seeking an Engineer IV to support mission-critical operations within our Global Data Center Operations team. In this onsite role at our Ashburn Data Center, you’ll serve as a hands-on technical resource and leader focused on day-to-day operations and capacity planning for critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily operations for electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems in the data center environment
- Contribute to capacity planning to ensure availability and performance for mission-critical infrastructure
- Partner with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance activities and operational improvements
- Apply technical expertise to troubleshoot issues and support safe, reliable system performance
- Help drive program execution through clear communication, documentation, and operational follow-through
Requirements
- Experience supporting maintenance and operations of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure
- Knowledge of fire life safety systems and related data center operational practices
- Technical and program management experience in a mission-critical facility environment
- Ability to work onsite and lead operational efforts at the data center
