About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next chapter of an iconic American brand—modern, electrified, and designed with American innovation. We’re looking for an Engineer Specialist to support the development of seat systems that deliver comfort, durability, and an exceptional user experience across our vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Own seat-related engineering deliverables across design, validation, and release phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements for fit, function, and performance.
- Support design reviews, technical documentation, and issue resolution throughout development.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure seat components meet quality and compliance needs.
Requirements
- Experience in automotive engineering with a focus on interior systems (seating preferred).
- Strong understanding of engineering processes, requirements, and verification/validation practices.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners and manage technical trade-offs.
- Comfort using engineering tools and working with technical documentation.
