About the Role
Roku is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Ad Serving organization. You’ll help build and scale real-time advertising capabilities that are highly available, resilient, and designed for large-scale streaming audiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach engineering teams delivering ad serving features and infrastructure
- Drive reliability, scalability, and performance improvements for real-time ad delivery
- Partner with product, data, and advertising stakeholders to define technical direction
- Ensure strong engineering practices, including monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Experience managing engineering teams in a production environment
- Strong background in building scalable, real-time systems
- Knowledge of reliability engineering practices (SLOs, observability, incident management)
- Ability to collaborate across functions and communicate clearly with stakeholders
