About the Role
StackAdapt is seeking an Engineering Manager I to lead the Creative team responsible for the end-to-end creatives pipeline. You’ll help build and scale systems that power dynamic creative selection, approvals, audits, and complex business rules—supporting high-impact programmatic marketing at massive scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day execution for the Creative team, aligning engineering delivery with product and business goals
- Oversee design and development of backend services that support creative serving on bid requests and related workflows
- Drive reliability and performance for high-throughput systems with an aggressive 100ms SLA
- Collaborate with partners across Bidding, Data Science, and Product to deliver end-to-end creative experiences
- Support engineering excellence through coaching, technical guidance, and continuous improvement
- Manage cross-service integrations and ensure auditability, governance, and workflow correctness
Requirements
- Experience leading engineering teams and delivering software in a production environment
- Strong backend engineering background, with familiarity working in Go (Golang) or similar languages
- Demonstrated ability to manage systems handling high request volumes and low-latency requirements
- Experience with workflow orchestration, approval/audit processes, or rules-driven systems is a plus
- Comfort collaborating across multiple stakeholders and translating requirements into technical plans
