About the Role
Lantern is seeking an Events Manager to own one of the most high-volume and operationally complex programs in our events portfolio: a benefit fairs open enrollment series with 200+ events per year delivered directly to members. This role is built for someone who leads with customer service, enjoys structured complexity, and turns logistics into a consistently excellent member experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution for 200+ annual open enrollment benefit fairs, including logistics coordination, vendor and staffing management, and on-site support.
- Create and continuously improve scalable program systems, from swag fulfillment to post-event reporting, learnings capture, and process refinement.
- Partner across Client Success, Member Marketing, and Growth Marketing Events to ensure each event meets client expectations and delivers a high-quality member journey.
- Manage internal corporate events, including venue sourcing, room assignments, run-of-show execution, budget tracking, and vendor coordination.
- Support the annual client conference with logistics, attendee experience elements, and on-site coordination.
- Maintain detailed pre-event documentation and run post-event debriefs to identify recurring issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Track event-level budgets across the OE program, monitor variances, and ensure spending stays aligned to plan.
- Run event calendars, timelines, and internal tracking in Monday.com to keep stakeholders aligned without constant follow-up.
- Develop creative activation concepts for priority client benefit fairs, including branded, experiential touchpoints that elevate the member experience.
- Coordinate with design and marketing teams on signage, event materials, and member communications as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing high-volume or complex events programs, with the ability to run multiple event formats at once.
- Proven experience executing internal corporate events, including venue sourcing, logistics, and on-site operations.
- Strong process-first mindset with exceptional attention to detail, using checklists, timelines, and contingency planning.
- Comfort working across teams and managing competing stakeholder priorities.
- Ability to analyze event performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Proficiency with project management tools, preferably Monday.com; HubSpot and Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, especially during peak OE season.
