About the Role
Lead the vision and operating model for using AI, data, and modern digital platforms to strengthen how medical science is developed, communicated, and acted on for patients and healthcare professionals worldwide. This senior enterprise role will help make AI-enabled capabilities routine for a global medical organization of 3,000+ colleagues, supporting more scientific engagement and faster, evidence-informed decision-making across headquarters and the field.
Based in Gaithersburg, Maryland, you will partner closely with Enterprise AI, IT, Medical leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate high-impact medical AI use cases into scalable products with measurable value—while ensuring capabilities are compliant, responsible, and designed for real-world adoption.
Responsibilities
- Set a multi-year AI and digital acceleration strategy and define the operating model for adoption across the medical organization
- Translate medical AI use cases into scalable products, workflows, and enablement programs with clear outcomes and metrics
- Collaborate across functions to align technology, data, and medical priorities into an integrated roadmap
- Advance capabilities such as GenAI, agentic workflows, and real-time insight synthesis in ways that support responsible use
- Ensure delivery of compliant solutions by partnering with relevant governance, risk, and quality stakeholders
Requirements
- Executive-level experience leading enterprise strategy, digital transformation, or AI enablement in a regulated environment
- Strong ability to translate complex AI concepts into practical, scalable products and enablement initiatives
- Proven partnership skills across IT, data/AI, medical leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Demonstrated understanding of responsible AI principles and compliance considerations
- Track record of driving measurable business or scientific impact through technology programs
