About the Role
As a Fitness Instructor, you’ll help residents and Brewster Connect members build strength, balance, flexibility, and endurance through safe, engaging fitness programs. You’ll lead both land-based and aquatic classes while creating a welcoming, supportive environment for participants of all abilities.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and lead a variety of group and individual fitness classes, including land-based and aquatic programs
- Adapt exercises to meet the needs of residents with varying abilities and fitness levels
- Instruct classes in a safe, effective manner that supports overall health and well-being
- Maintain an encouraging atmosphere that motivates participants to stay active
Requirements
- Experience leading fitness classes (land-based and/or aquatic instruction preferred)
- Ability to modify exercises for different abilities and mobility levels
- Strong commitment to safety, wellness, and participant engagement
