About the Role
We’re looking for a Procurement Officer to manage end-to-end purchasing and help ensure the right products are available when customers need them. You’ll partner closely with sales and retail teams, forecast demand, and work with suppliers to maintain efficient inventory levels.
Responsibilities
- Run the procurement process to match inventory availability with sales demand
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Retail Supervisor to forecast needs and plan inventory
- Source suppliers and negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery terms
- Track stock levels and coordinate replenishment to reduce stockouts and excess inventory
- Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier information, and inventory data
- Review product performance with the sales team and adjust procurement strategies for bestsellers
- Stay up to date on industry trends, new products, and supplier developments
Requirements
- Strong experience with MS Dynamics or a comparable ERP system
- Proven background in procurement, inventory management, or retail purchasing
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales and retail stakeholders
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and inventory management tools
