About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next chapter of iconic American mobility, and we’re looking for a JIS Material Planner Specialist to support our production and supply chain planning needs. In this role, you’ll help ensure the right materials are available at the right time to keep operations moving smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate material requirements to support manufacturing schedules
- Maintain accurate planning data and support inventory availability across the supply chain
- Monitor demand and supply signals to identify risks and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve material constraints
- Track planning performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Experience in material planning, production planning, or supply chain planning
- Working knowledge of JIS-related processes and/or planning frameworks (or equivalent experience)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfort working with planning tools, spreadsheets, and data-driven decision-making
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional coordination
