About the Role
Join our manufacturing team as a Forging Press Operator at the Cummins facility in Morristown, TN. In this role, you’ll operate production equipment to meet quality and productivity standards while following safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate forging press and related manufacturing equipment in a safe, efficient manner
- Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately to support a safe workplace
- Follow HSE (health, safety, and environmental) standards and promptly report injuries, illnesses, incidents, and hazards
- Minimize environmental impact by identifying and reducing waste and other operational risks
- Maintain productivity targets while producing parts that meet quality requirements
Requirements
- Experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing environment (forging or metal forming preferred)
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and reporting expectations
- Ability to follow work instructions and quality requirements
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work 2nd shift
