About the Role
Join our warehouse team as a Forklift Operator responsible for the safe, accurate handling of food products. You’ll support receiving, storage, and shipment operations using a variety of material-handling equipment while following established safety and quality procedures.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight efficiently and safely using the appropriate equipment.
- Move products to designated storage areas throughout the facility.
- Stack and store merchandise, and assist with order picking and assembly for shipment.
- Verify freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation; label, sort, wrap, pack, and repack items as directed.
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, stand-up straddle trucks, pallet jacks, double pallet jacks, and RF (radio frequency) equipment.
Requirements
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse material-handling equipment.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work under general supervision.
- Strong attention to detail for accuracy, labeling, and product handling.
- Basic familiarity with RF (radio frequency) equipment and warehouse processes.
