About the Role
RunSybil is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own the technical execution behind every customer engagement. You’ll represent Sybil in the field—running product demos, scoping security assessments, and ensuring prospects clearly understand how Sybil can strengthen their environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical demos and walkthroughs of Sybil for prospective customers
- Scope engagements in collaboration with security and engineering stakeholders
- Translate customer needs into actionable security objectives and evaluation plans
- Engage across diverse audiences, from CISO-level discovery to hands-on technical deep-dives
- Partner with internal teams to refine messaging, demo flows, and technical guidance
Requirements
- Practical experience in offensive security, vulnerability research, or penetration testing
- Strong technical communication skills with the ability to tailor explanations to different audiences
- Comfort working in discovery, scoping, and demo settings with security leadership and operators
- Ability to assess environments and define clear evaluation criteria
