About the Role
C3 AI is seeking a Forward Deployed Team Lead to serve as a senior technology leader for a federal customer end-to-end. In this role, you’ll embed with civilian agencies and Department of War/DoD stakeholders to help take AI solutions from design through deployment and operations.
Responsibilities
- Own the federal customer engagement end-to-end, acting as the primary technical lead
- Combine architecture leadership with hands-on coding to deliver reliable enterprise AI capabilities
- Drive product ownership by translating customer needs into actionable technical plans
- Manage projects and coordinate timelines, deliverables, and execution across stakeholders
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly with technical and non-technical partners
Requirements
- Strong technical leadership experience in enterprise software and/or AI systems
- Hands-on coding background with the ability to contribute directly to implementation
- Experience working with stakeholders in complex, mission-driven environments
- Comfort owning delivery outcomes across architecture, execution, and operations
- Ability to embed with federal customers and collaborate closely on-site or in a hybrid model
