About the Role
Structured AI is building an AI workforce for construction engineering—agents that can read complex mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil drawings to support automated QA/QC, code-compliance, and design consistency checks. We’re a YC F25 company (~10 people) moving quickly, and this is the first operations hire on our founding team.
As the Founding Operations Lead, you’ll be the connective tissue of the company and a direct extension of the founders. Your mission is to turn day-to-day chaos into clear operating rhythms, reduce the operational burden on the founding team, and ensure nothing slips as we scale.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day operations and help establish scalable processes across the company
- Coordinate cross-functional execution so priorities move forward without bottlenecks
- Build and maintain operational systems (e.g., planning, documentation, tracking, and follow-through)
- Identify gaps in workflow and implement lightweight improvements quickly
- Support planning and execution as the team grows, including onboarding and internal coordination
Requirements
- Experience in operations, program management, or a similar founding/early-stage role
- Strong ability to structure ambiguity into repeatable workflows
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort working closely with founders and handling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Strong communication skills and a bias toward getting things done
