Global Payroll Manager (US Payroll) | Finance Team | Hybrid

About the Role

PhysicsX is seeking a Global Payroll Manager to join our Finance team and take ownership of US payroll operations. This role is focused on ensuring accurate, compliant bi-weekly payroll processing while partnering with internal teams to keep payroll processes running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end US payroll processing, including bi-weekly payroll runs
• Ensure payroll compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements
• Maintain payroll records and support audit-ready documentation
• Collaborate with HR and finance partners to ensure data accuracy and timely updates
• Monitor payroll workflows and continuously improve process efficiency and controls

Requirements

• Proven experience managing US payroll processing (bi-weekly preferred)
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance and wage/hour considerations
• Experience working with payroll systems and HRIS data
• High attention to detail and strong process discipline
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional coordination
