About the Role
SpaceX is seeking a world-class Global Supply Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for transmission and substation electric equipment supporting Starlink behind-the-meter power plant infrastructure. In this role, you’ll set sourcing strategy, manage suppliers, and drive reliable, cost-effective delivery at extreme scale and speed.
Responsibilities
- Own the procurement strategy for high-voltage transmission and substation equipment used in behind-the-meter power plants
- Partner with power plant engineers and energy teams to define equipment approaches and sourcing requirements
- Secure and manage long-lead components such as transformers, GIS, DTCB, bushings, transducers, utility poles, and related materials
- Build and manage relationships with OEMs and suppliers to support quality, lead times, and performance
- Coordinate delivery planning to ensure dependable supply and cost-effective outcomes
- Track procurement execution end-to-end, escalating risks and driving resolution to protect project schedules
Requirements
- Proven experience in global procurement or supply management for electrical power equipment
- Strong supplier management skills, including negotiation, performance tracking, and escalation
- Working knowledge of transmission/substation components and long-lead procurement practices
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and energy stakeholders
- Experience operating in fast-paced, high-scale environments with strong execution discipline
