About the Role
LMI is seeking a Health IT Specialist to support the Office of Health Security (OHS) within the Department of Homeland Security. In this role, you’ll help the client advance health security priorities through effective software acquisition program support, budget planning, and strong stakeholder relationship management. The position is onsite at the client site in Washington, DC, with partial telework allowed based on client needs.
To be considered, you must hold an active Secret security clearance and be able to obtain DHS suitability.
Responsibilities
- Support software acquisition program management activities for mission-focused initiatives
- Assist with budget planning and related planning/analysis tasks
- Apply critical thinking to evaluate needs, risks, and potential solutions
- Manage and maintain productive relationships with client stakeholders
- Contribute to business growth through proactive support and collaboration
- Maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct throughout all work
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance
- Ability to obtain DHS suitability
- Experience supporting program management for software acquisitions
- Strong skills in budget planning and analytical problem-solving
- Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Demonstrated ethical judgment and professionalism
