Health Policy Analyst (Provider Finance Pricing Team) — Hybrid

About the Role

The Center for Health Information and Analysis (CHIA) is seeking a Health Policy Analyst to join our Provider Finance Pricing Team. In this role, you’ll work with complex health care datasets and advanced analytics to uncover trends that support transparent, evidence-based decisions across Massachusetts’s health care system.

This position contributes to data-driven policy development focused on improving care quality and equity while helping keep costs affordable for Massachusetts families. CHIA offers a collaborative, flexible hybrid work model, with at least two in-office days per week at our Boston location.

Responsibilities

• Analyze health care data to support provider finance and pricing insights
• Identify trends, patterns, and implications to inform policy and program decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Contribute to reporting and documentation that supports transparency and stakeholder understanding

Requirements

• Experience working with health care data and analytical methods
• Strong ability to interpret results and communicate insights clearly
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Ability to work on a hybrid schedule with in-office presence in Boston at least two designated days per week
