About the Role
K12, a Stride Company, partners with Louisiana Virtual Charter Academy (LAVCA) to deliver engaging, individualized learning for students. We’re looking for a passionate High School Lead Teacher (Grades 9–12) to help students thrive in a discovery-driven online environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support instructional delivery for high school learners (grades 9–12) in alignment with school goals.
- Collaborate with school teams to maintain high-quality, personalized learning experiences.
- Participate in professional development, testing, and required in-person school events.
Requirements
- Appropriate state Department of Education high school (9–12) teaching certification (required).
- Ability to attend in-person PDs, testing, and other school events.
- Strong commitment to student success and individualized instruction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Residency in Louisiana is strongly preferred.
