About the Role
Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Director to lead housekeeping and laundry operations at a long-term care nursing facility in Catskill, New York. This full-time role focuses on maintaining cleanliness standards, supporting compliance, and ensuring residents experience a safe, well-kept environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage housekeeping and laundry programs, policies, schedules, and support the Department of Health survey process
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure consistent cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Train, coach, and manage housekeeping staff on cleaning protocols and safety procedures
- Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment
- Manage scheduling, budgeting, and operational reporting for housekeeping services
- Maintain day-to-day oversight to ensure services meet facility and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Prior experience required in housekeeping and/or laundry services within healthcare, senior living, nursing home, or hospital settings
- Strong leadership and staff training experience
- Knowledge of cleanliness, safety procedures, and facility compliance expectations
- Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and reporting related to daily operations
