About the Role
ENFRA is seeking an HVAC Retro-Controls Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activities for retrofitted HVAC control systems. In this role, you’ll help ensure new and upgraded equipment operates safely, efficiently, and as designed—supporting our mission in energy infrastructure and innovative energy solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage retro-commissioning planning, scheduling, and execution for HVAC controls projects
- Lead testing and verification of control sequences, sensors, actuators, and control logic
- Coordinate with engineering, contractors, and operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Develop commissioning documentation, including test plans, checklists, and reports
- Track issues, drive resolution, and confirm system performance against requirements
- Support commissioning closeout and handoff to operations with clear, actionable guidance
Requirements
- Experience leading commissioning activities for HVAC systems and/or building automation/controls
- Strong understanding of HVAC control sequences, control components, and control system troubleshooting
- Proficiency with commissioning practices, documentation, and test procedures
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders while maintaining quality and timelines
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
