About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next chapter of an iconic American brand—combining electrification, digitization, and American innovation. We’re looking for an Industrial Engineer & Production Systems Specialist to help design, improve, and standardize production processes that support efficient, high-quality vehicle manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current production workflows and identify opportunities to improve throughput, quality, and safety
- Develop and maintain production systems, work standards, and process documentation
- Support line balancing, takt planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and validate results
- Use data to track performance metrics and drive root-cause problem solving
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Experience improving manufacturing processes (industrial engineering or production systems)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data
- Working knowledge of lean/continuous improvement principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams
