About the Role
Sound Credit Union is looking for an Information & Cyber Security Engineer to help protect IT systems and infrastructure. In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen security controls, improve resilience, and support ongoing risk reduction efforts.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security measures for IT systems and infrastructure
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to address security needs and priorities
- Monitor, assess, and help remediate security risks and vulnerabilities
- Support secure operations and continuous improvement of security processes
Requirements
- Experience working with information security and/or cyber security technologies
- Strong understanding of security concepts, threats, and defensive best practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning in a fast-evolving field
Compensation & Benefits
- Target salary range: $92,000–$115,000 based on experience and education
- Full salary range: $92,000–$138,000
