Information Security Analyst (Level 1) | SOC Monitoring | Onsite

About the Role

We’re seeking an Information Security Analyst (Level 1) to support day-to-day operations within our Security Operations Center (SOC) at our Jersey City location. In this role, you’ll monitor security tools, help investigate alerts, and escalate potential threats in line with established EXL processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 support by monitoring cyber defense solutions such as SIEM, DLP, CASB, and EDR
• Manage routine SOC operations during your shift to ensure continuous security coverage
• Follow predefined procedures that outline what to do and how to perform each activity
• Collaborate with other team members to investigate alerts, incidents, and operational issues
• Address questions and concerns from analysts and stakeholders while maintaining smooth shift operations
• Research potential threats and escalate findings for client remediation and/or incident response using EXL processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology
• Basic knowledge of information security (preferred)
