About the Role
K12, a Stride Company, is seeking an Instructional Coach to partner with academic administrators, master/lead teachers, and classroom teachers to strengthen student learning and teacher practice in a virtual PBL environment. Working under the direction of the Instructional Methods Advisor, you will help drive data-informed, research-based instruction across one or more schools in the region.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group professional learning focused on effective, research-based instruction
- Collaborate with teachers and instructional leaders to refine teaching practice using data
- Support educators in applying new strategies and instructional approaches
- Provide ongoing coaching and professional development aligned to school and regional goals
- Work as a team member with academic administrators, master/lead teachers, and teachers
Requirements
- Alabama Teaching Certificate
- Residency in Alabama
- Experience supporting K-12 instruction and professional learning (virtual experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of research and data-based instructional practices
