About the Role
Join the Research & Development Group within the Spectrum Warfare Department at NAVAIR WARCEN WPNDIV in Point Mugu. In this Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist role, you will help define electronic warfare (EW) flight line test and maintenance requirements that support system sustainment and deliver test products for both domestic and international partners.
Responsibilities
- Define EW flight line test and maintenance requirements to support system sustainment
- Provide senior-level technical expertise and project leadership for NAWCWD initiatives
- Ensure EW Support Equipment (SE) solutions are effective for current and future mission objectives
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to support operational availability and interoperability of partners’ EW systems
- Deliver project updates, status reports, and technical consultation, including proposal support
Requirements
- Experience in electronic warfare (EW) testing, sustainment, and/or support equipment engineering
- Demonstrated ability to provide senior technical guidance and lead technical projects
- Strong communication skills to present proposals and report technical status to stakeholders
- Experience supporting domestic and/or international mission partners and interoperability goals
