About the Role
U.S. Fleet Cyber Command is seeking an IT Cybersecurity Specialist (InfoSec) to support the Navy Authorizing Official Directorate within the Operations Division. Responsibilities
- Perform iterative, in-depth analysis of security artifacts early in the system life cycle to evaluate whether security protections are being built in appropriately.
- Conduct thorough reviews of the Assessment and Authorization (A/A) package to assess residual risk.
- Serve as a project lead by defining objectives and guiding related cybersecurity activities.
Requirements
- Experience supporting information security assessments and risk evaluation.
- Ability to review and interpret Assessment and Authorization (A/A) documentation and residual risk findings.
- Strong analytical and project leadership skills to drive security planning and execution.
