About the Role
Verisign is seeking a Junior Java Software Engineer to help expand the Name Studio API team. You’ll work on services that support the security and reliability of internet infrastructure, contributing to a platform built for performance and resilience.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve backend services for the Name Studio API
- Apply core software engineering and computer science fundamentals to solve real problems
- Collaborate with teammates to design, implement, and troubleshoot features
- Learn and apply cloud technologies to support scalable services
- Contribute to continuous improvements in reliability, performance, and maintainability
Requirements
- Experience with Java and building software components
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts, preferably AWS
- Basic knowledge of machine learning and/or LLM concepts (helpful, not required)
- Hands-on problem-solving experience and comfort working through engineering challenges
- Strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals and core CS concepts
