About the Role
Ace IT Careers is hiring a Junior QA Engineer to support quality assurance across both manual testing and test automation. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates who have foundational QA knowledge and want hands-on experience across the full software testing lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing and contribute to test execution based on project needs
- Support defect tracking, reporting, and verification throughout the development cycle
- Participate in regression testing and help ensure previously validated features remain stable
- Assist with API validation and database testing as required
- Contribute to automation efforts to improve coverage and efficiency
Requirements
- 0–2 years of QA, software testing, internship, or academic/project experience
- Basic understanding of SDLC/STLC and defect management
- Familiarity with test cases, test scenarios, regression testing, and bug reporting
- Helpful experience with tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps, Postman, SQL, Selenium, Java, Python, or similar technologies
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in both manual testing and automation
