About the Role
NewLimit is seeking a Laboratory Operations Specialist to support our Operations team in a life science laboratory environment. In this role, you’ll partner with scientists and engineers to build the infrastructure and workflows that help our research programs move faster and run more efficiently—so we can deliver therapeutic value to patients sooner.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain laboratory infrastructure, tools, and operational processes that support day-to-day research activities
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and reduce friction in experimental execution
- Support the planning and readiness of lab resources to improve throughput and consistency
- Help document and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational best practices
Requirements
- Experience working in a life science laboratory setting with hands-on operations or lab support
- Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, organization, and process improvement
- Ability to collaborate effectively with scientists and engineers across teams
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and reliability are critical
