About the Role
DLR Group is seeking a Laboratory Planner to support lab planning efforts across Science + Technology projects. You’ll collaborate with Principals, Project Managers, Senior Laboratory Planners, architects, engineers, and consultants to help shape programming, planning, and design solutions for client needs.
Responsibilities
- Support laboratory programming and planning activities for science and technology projects
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, engineers, and consultants
- Assist with space planning and design development for laboratory environments
- Help develop and refine planning documentation throughout project phases
- Contribute to project communication and planning deliverables under direction from senior team members
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in laboratory planning and/or lab-related design
- Strong understanding of laboratory space planning concepts and workflows
- Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment with flexible scheduling between office and home
