About the Role
AoPS Academy is seeking a part-time Language Arts Instructor for the 2026–2027 academic year. If you enjoy helping students grow through interactive, student-centered learning, you’ll fit right in with our collaborative classroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach language arts using company-created curriculum and materials
- Lead small classes and encourage student-led learning and discussion
- Manage classroom activities effectively with up to 16 students
- Grade assessments and provide constructive feedback
- Build strong relationships with students and families to support long-term learning
Requirements
- Experience teaching language arts or related subjects
- Comfort working with advanced students
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to provide timely, helpful feedback on student work
