About the Role
AoPS Academy is looking for a part-time Language Arts Instructor for the 2026–2027 academic year. If you enjoy helping students grow through engaging instruction and collaborative classroom discussions, we’d love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Teach language arts using AoPS Academy’s company-created curriculum and materials for advanced learners
- Lead small classes and encourage student-led learning during each session
- Manage classroom instruction effectively for groups of up to 16 students
- Grade assessments and provide constructive feedback to support student progress
- Build strong relationships with students and families to create a positive, lasting impact
Requirements
- Experience teaching language arts (or equivalent instructional experience)
- Ability to foster engagement and support student-centered learning
- Strong classroom management skills
