Dance Enrichment Teacher (Grades K-8) - Full-Time Onsite

KIPP New Orleans is seeking a Dance Enrichment Teacher to inspire students through movement, creativity, and confidence. We believe every learner has unique gifts, and we support our teachers with the coaching, community, and opportunities they need to deliver excellent instruction every day.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging dance enrichment lessons aligned to student needs and school goals
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages participation and growth
• Provide students with opportunities to build skills in rhythm, coordination, expression, and teamwork
• Collaborate with school staff to support student learning and enrichment programming
• Maintain a safe, organized learning environment and follow all school policies

Requirements

• Experience teaching dance or leading student performing arts activities
• Strong classroom management and the ability to motivate students
• Commitment to equity, student success, and continuous improvement
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
