About the Role
Shipco Transport Inc., a global international cargo transportation provider, is seeking an experienced LCL Import Operations Coordinator for our MIA branch in Medley, Florida. As part of our intermodal team, you’ll help coordinate LCL import shipments and ensure smooth, timely movement from origin to destination.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day LCL import operations to support accurate and timely shipment handling
- Work with internal teams and external partners to track milestones and resolve issues as they arise
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with shipment requirements
- Monitor shipment status, update records, and communicate progress to stakeholders
- Help maintain service quality by identifying process improvements within the import workflow
Requirements
- Proven experience in LCL import operations or a closely related logistics role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
- Comfort working with shipping documentation and operational data
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong communication skills
