About the Role
Join our engineering team as a Lead Electrical Engineer focused on 765kV EHV substation design. You will serve as a technical lead, guiding complex transmission-level substation projects from concept through execution while supporting quality, schedule, and client collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead or provide expert technical direction for EHV (765kV) substation design projects
- Develop and apply advanced engineering methods to solve complex design challenges
- Supervise and mentor engineers and coordinate technical work within project teams
- Own the preparation, validation, and presentation of specialized technical deliverables
- Interface directly with clients to align requirements, manage technical decisions, and support project outcomes
- Drive overall project execution and quality as a leader within a collaborative environment
Requirements
- Experience leading electrical substation design at EHV transmission voltage levels (765kV preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to function as a technical specialist and/or lead engineer
- Strong engineering judgment and ability to develop and validate technical outputs
- Experience supervising or mentoring engineering staff on design projects
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
